Preschool

Our preschool has been a huge part of the Southern York County Community for over 40 years, offering a safe place for our little ones to learn and grow. Our bright, cheerful classrooms and nurturing teachers create an environment in which your child will thrive.

Preschool Programs

All curriculum policies and procedures are established by the Office of Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Harrisburg and are voluntarily consistent with the requirements of the Academic Standards of the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

TIME FOR TWOS
For children who will be 3 years old by August 31st

 

Classes Available:

Tuesdays 9:00am - 11:00am (bring snack)

Thursdays 9:00am - 11:00am (bring snack)

​This is a teacher directed class, designed for children who are two years of age to attend along with a parent or designated grown-up. Activities include circle time, crafts, structured free play, music/movement, and sensory activities.

PK-3
For children who will be 3 years old by August 31st

Classes available:

M/W/F Class: 9:00am - 11:30am (bring snack)

T/Th Class: 9:00am - 11:30am (bring snack)

This prekindergarten program introduces the children to a classroom setting, develop social skills and build confidence while working on the academic development intended for this age level.  

PK-4
For children who will be 4 years old by August 31st

Classes available:

M/W/F: 9:00am - 1:00pm (bring snack and lunch)

M-F: 9:00am - 1:00pm (bring snack and lunch)

M-F: 9:00am - 3:15pm (bring 2 snacks and lunch)


The goal of this prekindergarten is Kindergarten readiness. The focus is to help the students develop their fine motor skills, recognition of letters, numbers, beginning sounds, shapes and colors while continuing to work on social skills, ability to follow directions and build confidence.
