What is the Little Angels Program?
Little Angels Before and After School Care provides professional care, supervision, recreation, and socialization for your child prior to and following their school day and is open to all students attending St. John the Baptist Catholic School. The program operates under the philosophy and mission of the school and provides the convenience and peace of mind knowing your child is safe, cared for by trained adults who know them and love them, and in one location throughout the day. Little Angels is available 6:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. on school days. Preregistration is required, and children who are not signed up for care prior to being dropped off will be turned away due to required teacher/child ratios.
Little Angels Pricing
The cost for care is $10/hour. Any portion of an hour will be billed as an hour.
A $50 non-refundable registration fee is required at registration. All billing is done through our tuition management system, STS. If you have not already created an account, please do so at simpletuitionsolutions.org/parents. Tuition will be billed twice a month. If you are over a month late in your tuition payments or you owe more than $300 on your account, your child(ren) will not be allowed to continue in Little Angels until the balance is paid in full. If you are experiencing a difficult financial situation, please contact Mrs. Catherine Sevdalian or Mrs. Michelle Williams to work out a special arrangement.
You are hereby notified of the following additional fees, which will be assessed to your account without notice in the following situations:

$15 Drop-In Fee (plus the regular cost of care, which is $10/hour) per child if you have not registered your child 24 hours prior to the morning they are dropped off.

$20 Late Pickup Fee if you pick your child up after our closing time of 5:30 p.m.

$15 No-Show/Cancellation Fee (plus the cost of care for the registered hours) if you have signed up for care and do not show up or do not contact us to cancel within 24 hours.
Procedure
Little Angels pickup and dropoff are NOT through the school entrance. Please use the back door, across from the preschool playground, for arrival and dismissal. Ring the bell when you arrive and a staff member will answer via the intercom and bring your child to/from the Little Angels room.

Hours for Little Angels are 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Staff may only be in the building as early as the earliest scheduled child and the latest child scheduled to be picked up.

Be sure to let us know if your child will not be in Little Angels on a given day, or if they will arrive or be picked up at a different time or by a different person.

Items to send with your child

Breakfast if they haven’t eaten yet and are arriving early

Individual afternoon snack

Lunch, if your child is in the 3-year-old preschool class

Sleeping bag, mat, pillow, blanket, etc., for your preschool-age child to use during afternoon quiet time
Inclement Weather Policy
Little Angels follows the same weather policy as St. John the Baptist School.

If the school is operating on a 2-hour delay, Little Angels will open at 9:30.

If the school is closed, Little Angels will be closed.

If the school closes early, Little Angels will close 1 hour after school dismissal.

If no early closure but after school/evening activities are cancelled for Southern York County School District, Little Angels will close at 3:30.

Fees will be assessed in these situations as in regular situations to allow staff to get home safely.
